Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Dip. Therapeutic Counselling, MBACP
From £65.00 (50 minute session)
Nick is a dedicated psychotherapist and counsellor who believes that when life feels overwhelming or uncertain, talking it through can help you find your footing. He offers a calm and reflective space to slow down, explore what’s happening inside, and discover new perspectives.
Approach to Therapy
Nick works integratively, drawing on existential, person-centred, humanistic and relational approaches. He believes that the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation for meaningful change. In sessions, clients are encouraged to speak freely, without judgement, while also gently uncovering unconscious patterns that may be shaping their lives.
His aim is to help clients build a deeper understanding of themselves, recognise repeating relational patterns, and connect more fully with their emotional life. The counselling room becomes a safe, creative space for this exploration.
Why Nick Became a Therapist
Nick’s path to psychotherapy began with his own experience of being in therapy, a process that profoundly changed his life. He discovered the transformative power of honest self-exploration, and how much meaning can emerge from facing what we might otherwise avoid. That personal experience continues to shape the empathy, curiosity and care he brings to his work today.
Supporting Men’s Mental Health
Nick has particular experience working with men in their twenties and thirties, many of whom may not have had the opportunity to speak openly about their struggles before. He offers a safe, non-judgemental space where men can explore difficult feelings, identity, relationships, and the pressures of modern life.
