Ruth is a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor based in Weybridge, Surrey. She provides counselling for children, teenagers and adults, offering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their emotions, work through life challenges and build greater self-understanding at their own pace.
A Flexible and Compassionate Approach
Ruth holds a qualification in Integrative Counselling and has completed specialist training in Play Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a leading treatment for trauma. By drawing on a wide range of therapeutic models, Ruth is able to tailor each session to suit the individual needs of her clients.
- For children and teenagers, she often uses creative and play-based techniques, helping them to express emotions and experiences in a safe, natural way.
- For adults, Ruth offers a collaborative and reflective approach, supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, bereavement and relationship difficulties.
No matter the age or background of her clients, Ruth’s goal is to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and respect, encouraging growth, resilience and lasting emotional wellbeing.
