CPCAB Integrative Counselling Diploma, L5 Cert. Children & Young People, MBACP

From £60.00 (50 minute session)

Kirsten is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience working with adults, young adults and children, working in East Molesey. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works as a counsellor in a secondary school.

Before training as a therapist, Kirsten spent over 12 years working in the corporate world for a multinational technology company. This background gave her valuable insight into the pressures and challenges of high-demand work environments, which now informs her therapeutic practice.

How Kirsten Works

As an integrative therapist, Kirsten has a genuine interest in understanding and responding to each client’s unique emotional experiences. She adapts her approach to suit individual needs, drawing on her strong foundation in developmental psychology, Transactional Analysis and attachment theory.

Kirsten provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their feelings, patterns and relationships at their own pace. Her style is collaborative and supportive, helping clients to develop greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence.

Areas of Experience

Kirsten has supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Anger management
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Trauma and childhood experiences
  • Neurodiverse challenges
  • Life transitions and uncertainty

She understands that sometimes clients may not know exactly what brings them to therapy, only that they want things to feel different. Kirsten offers a space to explore whatever is troubling you, even if you don’t yet have the words for it.

Specialist Interests

  • Transactional Analysis (TA): helping clients understand repeating patterns in their relationships and interactions.
  • Attachment work: exploring how early experiences shape the way we connect with others today.
  • Young people: as a qualified practitioner for children and adolescents, Kirsten has experience supporting young people through the challenges of growing up, identity, and school pressures.
