HE Dip Psychodynamic Counselling (University of Greenwich), Post Qualification Cert Couples Counselling (BCS), MBACP

From £60.00 (50 minute session)

Kate is an experienced and compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s troubling you. She is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and works with both individuals and couples.

You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression or stress, or perhaps struggling with relationships, work pressures or unresolved past experiences. The idea of counselling can feel daunting, but talking to someone outside of your situation can bring relief, new insights and a greater sense of clarity. Kate helps you explore your thoughts and emotions while uncovering how the past or unconscious patterns may be shaping your present difficulties. With this deeper self-awareness, you can begin to break free from unhelpful cycles, recognise your true feelings and make positive changes in your life.

Kate also has a strong interest in couples counselling. She works with partners to explore challenges and improve communication, whether you are:

  • Facing a crisis in your relationship
  • Feeling stuck or distant
  • Navigating life changes such as parenthood or financial stress
  • Trying to decide whether to stay together or separate

By offering a supportive, neutral space, Kate helps couples better understand one another and rebuild connection where possible.

She is experienced in working with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety & depression
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Couples counselling & communication issues
  • Stress & burnout
  • Anger management
  • Grief & bereavement
  • Trauma & unresolved past experiences

Kate’s counselling approach is rooted in compassion, empathy and collaboration. Whether you are an individual or a couple, she offers a supportive space to help you navigate challenges, gain clarity and move towards lasting change.

Kate offers short-term or open-ended counselling, working at a pace comfortable to you. Please email to book a free 10 minute chat to answer any questions, discuss ways of working together and availability.

Kate charges £60 for individuals and £90 for couples, offering face to face and online sessions.  All sessions last 50 minutes.
