Chris Wilson

I approached Chris at the beginning of September 2023 looking for help following a series of major life changes including the break up of a long-term relationship, a move to another country, and a new job.

Client A

It took a lot for me to admit that I wasn’t ok, and even more to seek help to do something about it. I was worried about judgement, and my pride made asking for help very hard. I needn’t have worried: Chris immediately put me at ease.

Client D

We began by recognising that I had experienced three of the “big 5” life events all in one go: it was completely understandable and natural that I should feel the way I did. I didn’t need to feel guilty that I still missed my ex partner; it was ok to miss home; it was completely normal to feel inadequate in my new job and to question career choices nearing middle age.

Client L

Over the coming months, Chris helped me realise that you can’t choose not to feel sad or lost in life; but you can choose to learn why you feel the way you do, whether your own actions are contributing, and through that understanding choose to change your behaviour for the better moving forwards.

Client R

If you’re reluctant to open up to a stranger to talk about the way you feel: take the risk. Chris will provide you with a kind and empathetic environment to do so, and you won’t regret it.

Client T

Chris created a safe environment in which I felt free to express myself without judgement. His approach allowed me to unravel a series of independent events and circumstances, which hit me at the same time. I gained clarity and relief from an overwhelming feeling of burden. Chris has a sense of humour and treats clients with respect and dignity. I would not hesitate to ask for counselling myself or recommend him to others. Thank you Chris.
