Alli is a fully qualified, Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She offers a warm, friendly, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.
Her integrative approach means she draws from several therapeutic models, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), to create a way of working that suits each individual. Alli believes that every person’s story is unique, and therapy works best when it feels personal, flexible, and collaborative.
At the heart of Alli’s practice is the belief that the relationship between counsellor and client is key to healing and growth. She is naturally empathetic and easy to talk to, helping people to feel comfortable opening up about even the most difficult or confusing feelings. Her sessions provide a calm, grounded space where clients can gain self-awareness, make sense of their experiences, and begin to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Before training as a counsellor, Alli spent many years working in corporate sales. That career gave her a deep understanding of people, how we communicate, build trust, and navigate change. She learned to listen carefully, pick up on what isn’t being said, and stay present even in challenging situations. Over time, Alli realised that what she valued most in her work was connection. Understanding others, supporting them through uncertainty, and helping them to find their own solutions. Those skills now form a natural foundation for her counselling practice, where empathy, understanding, and genuine human connection are at the centre of every session.
As a registered member of the BACP, Alli works within their ethical framework, ensuring her practice is safe, reflective, and professional. She is committed to ongoing learning and development, always seeking to deepen her understanding of the human experience.
Alli understands that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, but she believes it can also be the beginning of a powerful process of self-discovery and change. Her aim is to walk alongside her clients with warmth, curiosity, and care by offering a safe space where they don’t have to face things alone.
