Abi Dewing

Abi is an accredited and experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, deeply committed to helping adults and young people find their own path to healing, growth, and self-understanding. Her practice is centred around providing a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with openness and curiosity.

With a decade of clinical experience, she draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. She primarily grounds her work in a humanistic approach, with a special interest in somatic and parts work, facilitating spaces for clients to find wholeness and balance, and reconnect with their authentic selves. She has completed 40 hours of additional post-qualification training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which she draws upon to help clients identify the different parts of themselves and the roles they play in their lives. Healing these inner wounds and internal relationships can offer a transformational shift in how clients relate to themselves and the world around them.

Abi has previous experience working as a psychotherapist in a primary school, secondary school and university before she started her private practice in 2020. She has experience working with children as young as 5, using play therapy skills, as well as teenagers and adults.

A deep interest in transpersonal psychology has led her to specialise in psychedelic-assisted therapy, with clinical experience at Aion Ketamine Clinic in London and in legal psilocybin retreats in Jamaica and Amsterdam. Her own experiences of using psychedelics to support her self-development in legal settings, alongside the incredible transformations witnessed over the years, has guided her to this work. She is committed to supporting clients who choose to use psychedelics as tools for their own healing and personal growth by offering specialised psychedelic integration.

Abi has extensive training in Psychotherapy, holding a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Humanistic Counselling practice from the University of Nottingham and a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regents University, which focused on Psychodynamic, Existential and Integrative Psychotherapy.

Abi charges £85 per 50-minute session.
