Psychotherapist & Counsellor
MA Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, MBACP
From £70.00 (50 minute session)
Starting therapy is a big step, and Chris approaches each client with kindness, care and respect. He believes that counselling and psychotherapy are normal, healthy processes for anyone who wants to understand themselves better, work through challenges and create meaningful change.
Your preferences are always at the centre of the work. From the focus of therapy, to the approaches used, to the pace of progress Chris works collaboratively with you, building on your own self-understanding as the foundation for growth.
Therapeutic Approach
Chris holds a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Roehampton University) and brings years of practice experience. He offers:
- Integrative psychotherapy & counselling drawing on CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and person-centred therapy
- Pluralistic therapy, where your needs, goals and preferences shape the direction of the work
- A safe, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself, free from expectations
- An approach that values both insight and action helping you understand yourself while building the skills to live well
Chris believes therapy is about developing new self-knowledge and learning the
skills of living well: skills none of us are simply born with. Over time, clients begin to recognise patterns in their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. By making sense of these patterns, new perspectives, choices and healthier ways of living become possible.
